Accomplishments

The C2Si team has years of experience providing scientific expertise and implementing real-world solutions to pressing environmental concerns. These are just a few of our many accomplishments:

  • Led the creation of national parks in Afghanistan, Madagascar, and Russia.
  • Assisted in the development of environmental law in Russia and Afghanistan and ensured the effective implementation of the rule of law in those countries.
  • Served as senior environmental policy and management advisor to the newly established Afghan National Environmental Protection Agency.
  • Official delegates to international environmental conventions.
  • Developed and implemented effective training in illegal wildlife trade for foreign customs agents as well as military and international aid mission personnel.
  • Rebuilt the science sector in Iraq.
  • Analyzed and planned a national strategy for responding to climate change in natural resource protection.
